Rooted in Christ...Rising to Serve.

What to Expect

Worship is central to our life together. Our worship is rooted in tradition, contemporary in application. All members and visitors are encouraged to participate in worship.

Holy communion is served each Sunday, and is served by common cup, individual cups, or by intinction.

Major holidays are celebrated with festival services where we have special music and liturgy.

There is a fellowship time after all worship services. You are welcome to join us. Please ask an usher for assistance.

You don’t have to dress up to join us. Most worship in casual dress. Whether you are a native Nashvillian, or a traveler from out of town, please come as you are.

We are pleased for children join us in worship. Since we know that sitting still through a service can be tough for little ones, we have prepared children’s worship service materials–a bag full of crayons, coloring books, and christian story books–these can be found near the entrance of the Nave (sanctuary) and of the Chapel. Finally, childcare is available in the nursery during each service, and during Sunday School hour, for children up to the age of 5-years old.

You will be greeted by a member who will help you enjoy your visit and worship experience. Ushers will also assist in any way you need or request.

Parking is free in our lot across McGavock Street.
