If you cannot make it that day, you can call 866-739-0317x59003 to be photographed at a local church where Lifetouch will be taking photos. Or you can submit a vertical photo to Tricia Gordon. You will need to include a signed release from the photographer, even if it's your mother. If you've had a recent professional photo session, the proofs you received are not your intellectual property; you need the photographer's explicit permission to use them for another purpose.

We are not kidding. Your humble Webmaster was once part of a copyright infringement lawsuit, and has trouble deciding which was the exact polar opposite of fun: the lawsuit, or that bout of shingles she had last summer. And her side “won.”

The fine people at Lifetouch are not stupid, and they are not going to risk using a photo whose permissions are not free and clear on your sorry behind.

Dirty infringers are dirty.
